I just had to put this out.
Please Remember about the highs and lows!
I just got this text from Lin at 4:22PM.
It reads;
Steve just reached out with BOTH hands and tried to lift his head again. I hugged and reassured him, and Steve fell back into a restful sleep!
It has been a good day!

Prayers are being answered and Steve is helping to keep you strong by sending you signs to let you know he is coming along. I went to 4:00p.m Mass and added some more prayers to Steve's healing tree. May all of you be re-united in Michigan soon. Have a safe flight and Linda please let us know if you need anything.

There was an article in the Raleigh paper today about researchers finding that head injury and stroke victims need restful sleep to recover, even if the patient is in a coma.
During sleeping hours, keep the lights down, the door closed (especially if you are near the nurses' station)and voices quiet. It is also helpful if attendants can limit disruptions to the patient. If medicine must be administered, it should be done as quietly as possible so as not to disturb sleep. A two hour quiet time in the afternoon has also proven to be helpful. The researchers found that sometimes, the patients just want to be left alone, with no one prodding or poking them every twenty minutes.
Sleep is a great healer, so keep those reassuring hugs going to Steve when he reaches out. It made me happy to think that Steve is getting good sleep. Thank you for sharing that.
Steve - Dani is home and sleeping in her bed, but her heart is still there with you! Prayers are being said for a safe flight for you, Beth and Linda. We will see you soon in Michigan, where you can continue your healing. xxxooo's, the Stones
