Words cannot describe the feeling. Three weeks ago, around this exact time, we received a call in Georgia of the news. Through the love of a mother, father, sister, grandmother and girl-friend; along with a million prayers and thoughts from family and friends, a young man exhibits his strength, determination and courage and returns home. Steve, we are overwhelmed with joy !!!

Be well; love Uncle Rick, Aunt Cheryl, Alyssa, Alexis and Ryan.

PS: Ryan's team won their city Tennis Championship this morning - in your honor. We hope you felt their presence, because they felt yours.

Been said many times before, but today, 21 days into recovery, the quick actions of a young man and young woman are what allow us all to remain hopeful for brighter days ahead for Steve. Thank you Matt and Kira. You may never know the full impact of your actions, but today we are all indebted to you for the gift you gave to each of us and the life that you saved.

Thank you & God bless you both
